- Fact #2: National Council on Aging (NCA) found 97% of employers with older workers think they’re “thorough” and “reliable.”
Myth #2: Older workers have a higher rate of absenteeism.
- Fact: In a similar study it was found that “younger workers have more avoidable and involuntary absenteeism than older workers.”

- Fact: NCA and the 9 to 5 National Association of Working Women show an 88% lower turnover rate in baby boomers compared to Gen Y’s (born 1982 – 2001) & Gen X’s (born 1961 – 1981).
