WorkTerrain New Informational Webinars Discuss Goal Achievement and Teaching Kids About Body Confidence

WILMINGTON, MA - WorkTerrain announces the release of Achieve Your Goals, Change Your Thinking, a new webinar on its web site, www.kidsterrain.com. Presented by motivational speaker Frank Damelio, the fifteen-minute, web-based program offers insights, techniques, and tips that can change your life. The cost of the program is $9.95.

"Can fifteen minutes really change your life? Yes, it can. The focus of this program is goal achievement, not goal setting," explained Damelio. "We've all heard the goal-setting steps: write goals, set dates and measurable objectives; assess progress, and so on. This webinar shifts the focus to goal achievement, and how to get there."

Frank Damelio is the owner of Connect With Magic. He is a national corporate speaker and professional magician whose clients include Procter & Gamble, AT&T, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Crowne Plaza Resorts, Pfizer, and many more. His unique method of combining the psychology of persuasion with magical entertainment to deliver a message with impact recently earned him international press as well as front-page showcase in the business section of the Boston Herald.

Achieve Your Goals, Change Your Thinking discusses techniques for implementing goals, tips on motivating oneself to reach one's goals, insights on recognizing self-defeating internal dialogue, and techniques for developing proactive internal dialogue.

WorkTerrain also released Teaching Body Confidence, presented by Rebecca L. Manley, President and Founder of the Multiservice Eating Disorders Association, (MEDA). Each year, millions of Americans are diagnosed with eating disorders, and 90% of those diagnosed are adolescent and young women. Even more alarming, this number has doubled since the 1960s, with the age groups getting younger, as young as seven years of age.

Manley offers recommendations for helping children develop a healthy body image. Methods include: Identify factors that affect body confidence; understand the link with eating disorders; understand thoughts and feelings parents have surrounding their own bodies; and ways to help children develop positive attitudes about his or her body.

"Despite the media bombardment, we can teach our children to have a healthy body image," said Manley. "This webinar will guide you through the necessary steps to help your child become more accepting of his or her body, and the bodies of others." Topics discussed are: Expressing emotion: the five A's to body confidence; how to re-frame negative messages; and developing Positive self-talk.

For a nominal fee visitors to the WorkTerrain web site can partake in this and other multi-media, comprehensive web-based programs presented by WorkTerrain's team of experts and clinicians. The webinars are available "24/7, on your own time, and in the comfort of your own home," said Rita Schiano, the company's Director of Communications.

The web site is also home to the WorkTerrain Neighborhood Store, offering products and goods designed especially for WorkTerrain, including books and CDs developed by the company's New Voices Publishing division.
